Ward High Desert Tours
Welcome to Ward High Desert Tours; offering private interpretative natural and cultural history day excursions. Operating in Northeastern Arizona and Northwestern New Mexico, our tours feature a mix of backroad driving and short hikes highlighting the rich biodiversity and indigenous cultures of the region; from the volcanic lava fields & sandstone canyons to the forested mountain high country. The 8-10 hour duration and leisurely pace offer plenty of opportunities for photography, journaling, nature observation, and personal reflection. And includes a delicious charcuterie style lunch.
Please take a few moments and explore the site to learn more specifics about our tours, the region, and your guide Jerry Ward.
Hope to see you soon!
